Over 35 years ago, EMI was a service-only business. Since then we have drastically increased our scope but we have never change our commitment to service and electronic repairs.

Our in-shop and field service departments have maintained a constant presence in this area. We have provided repairs for almost every organization, music store, performing artist and major facility you can think of.

We are a warranty center for over 50 companies. Working in conjunction with our Rental, Sales and Design, Installation & Acoustics departments we can repair, replace or redesign any sound or video system.

HOURS & DETAILS

Our business hours are 10-6 Monday thru Saturday.

Our in-shop rate is $80 per hour labor + parts.

We require pre-payment of $40 to cover the first ½ hour of repair/diagnostic. This is also our minimum repair/diagnostic charge and is non-refundable. During repair check in, you can request an estimate or to be contacted if cost exceeds a specified dollar amount.

Repairs are handled on a first-come first-served basis. The time it takes for a technician to evaluate your repair varies depending on current repair volume, but its typically around 14 days. After it has been evaluated, the technician will contact you with the diagnosis, estimate (if requested), and approximate time of completion.

If faster service is required, you can put a rush order on your item for an additional $40. This rush order guarantees your item will be on the next available bench for service. Rush fees are non-refundable.

After completion of the repair, we ask that the item be picked up within 7 days. All repairs carry a 90 day parts and labor warranty on the work that was done.
