The football field uses eight pairs of Bose 802 speakers. They are stacked two high and mounted, two pairs per light pole. We have used this configuration in other installation and it always works well. The full range sound of the 802 speakers is far superior to the horn type loud speakers often used. This system makes the announcing very easy to hear and understand. It is also a benefit to dance lines, cheerleaders and other on field performers.

Outdoor sound systems can draw complaints in some communities. We designed this system with limiters on the maximum sound output.

Crown amplifiers and Bose Controlspace provides the power and signal processing to the system. Two wireless mics, one for the announcer and one for the Referee were provided along with a CD player and an ipod input.

This sound system provides high quality sound for the large seating area and field, covering this areas with highly intellibible audio.
