The city of St Louis Park originally called us to get a proposal for a sound system at their water park and on the adjoining grounds. They indicated they had a very small budget for this project. We informed them of our rental program. Renting a sound system would give them immediate access with a limited budget. Our rental program allows up to 60% of the payments to go towards the purchase of the equipment rented. |
We sometimes customize our rental program to fit some of our customers needs. In this case, we divided the sound system into two parts. Some of the equipment needed to be permanently installed while the rest of it could be rented. The rented equipment could be returned or purchased at the end of the season.
When we did the final survey and delivered the proposal to the city, they were very excited. Our price was much lower than they had expected. They had the budget to do most of the installation this year! |
The new generation Bose 402II speakers have a full weatherproof rating and were just the right size and performance to use for this system. We mounted them to existing light poles for a very neat and clean installation. Four were installed this year with plans to add more next year.
A Superscope PAC 750 was used to provide sources for CD, cassette and paging from a single unit. One large Crown CT1800 and many many feet of wire were used to finish a sound system that has made the customer very happy. |
