St Timothy

	St Timothy uses a distributed Bose Panary 502A system. A total of 6 speakers were used with 2 delayed zones. The delays are crucial to make sure the sound from all the speakers arrives at all listeners at the same time. A poorly designed delayed system will cause echoes and poor sound quality.

There is no sound system operator for services. The system was designed to be used without one.

Special silent switches were designed and installed for the microphone on/off switches.

The choir is located in the left front of the church. They are not in the main coverage pattern of the sound system. We installed a monitor system for them using Bose Model 25 monitor speakers.

The crying room has a similar system using Bose Model 25s.

The speakers have perforated metal grills and were painted to match the background. As you can see in the picture to the right, they are barely visible.

The many overhangs and the two wings of this cross shaped church made for design challenges. Using computer modeling software and our 30+ years of experience made the system perform as predicted.
