St Paul Seminary

Line array speakers are amazing. They put most of their sound into the listening area. This creates less echos and greatly increases intelligibility. They don't need to be suspended from the ceiling. The low mounting position was critical in this room.

The reason you haven't seen other line array installations is simple. The installer needs to be certified on the specific design software for a sucessful system. We know what the results of our systems will be before they are installed.

This system required 3 line arrays to be stacked on either side of the listeners.

We designed a system that met all of their needs.

The stacked Bose MA-12 (seen on the right) fasten together and and are attached and aimed with Bose speaker brackets. The metal grills allow the speakers to be painted to match the decore.

In the main picture (above) it is easy to see why the Bose MA-12 speaker system was the answer for this room. A central cluster would have blocked the view of the pipe organ pipes or the stained glass window.

A distributed system would have small speakers and wires everywhere. The MA-12s are almost invisible and sound better than the other systems we modeled for comparison purposes.

The usual high quality equipment-Crown, Shure & Marantz-used in the sound system compliments a well designed speaker system.
