First Congregational

The First Congregational Church needed a new sound system. Their old system was the typical eye-sore large black cabinet hung in the center over the altar. It sounded terrible.

They contacted us and Jeff designed a new system for them. He use Bose modeler software to verify the performance of the just released Bose MA-12 speakers. Their amazingly small size and low height mounting requirements made the whole system look and perform fantastic.

One SE32 was installed on either side of the choir
One of the great things about the whole family of Bose speakers is that they all sound alike. Other manufacturers small speakers often sound different from the mid sized ones and they in turn are different from the large speakers. If you think about it, all speakers from the same manufacturer should sound alike. If a speaker is designed to be "accurate", then it should sound like the last speaker designed to sound "accurate". The desirable byproduct of this policy is that different sized Bose speakers can be installed in the same listening environment without a conflict in sound quality. In other words, the choir hears the same sound as the congregation.
Bose Model SE-32s
were used as monitors
The new Bose MA-12 speakers are unique. They are a "line array". This technology has been developed by Bose to take advantage of several unique characteristics of this type of speaker.
The coverage pattern of these speakers is wide and flat.
Bose MA-12 speakers deliver more sound to rear areas. They are designed to be mounted fairly low and no longer need to be mounted in the visual centerpoint of the room.

MA-12 speakers are barely visible.
